Vanderbilt Wine Bar

The bottom two levels of this four-story (one below grade) townhouse in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, are to be converted from a retail space into a wine bar and restaurant. The structural work includes the replacement of a large, water-damaged area of the ground floor timber framing, removal of a single-story section of the back brick wall to be replaced by glazing, and evaluation of the existing steel store-front lintel condition for continued use over the proposed store-front replacement.
